Afghanistan – derzeit in aller Munde (inzwischen schon fast wieder nicht) – wurde im August 2021, nach dem Abzug der internationalen Truppen, erneut fast vollständig durch die Taliban erobert. Schnell verlor die westliche Welt wieder das Interesse an dem Land am Fuße des Hindukusch – wie schon so oft.
