Heute beendet Flo die zweiteilige Serie zu König Stanislaus Leszczynski. Weil in Teil I noch nicht genug Krieg und allgemeine Tragik behandelt wurden, geht es auch im zweiten Teil wieder um den Kampf um den polnischen Thron und weitere Rückschläge für den exilierten König von Polen. Für Fans von Happy-Ends ist jedoch noch nicht aller Tage Ende gekommen, denn so wechselhaft Stanislaus‘ Biografie auch ist, am Ende wird – wie so oft – wenn schon nicht alles, dann wenigstens vieles gut.
Als Bonus wird in der Folge das Leben eines polnischen Zeitgenossen des Polenkönigs beleuchtet: Józef Boruwlaski, einem Mann, der trotz einiger Widrigkeiten ein faszinierendes Leben führte und uns mit seinen selbst verfassten Memoiren einen einzigartigen Einblick in das Leben eines Kleinwüchsigen im 18. Jahrhundert ermöglicht.
